INSTALLATION GUIDE:
1) I want to watch the Joel Rosenberg Epicenter Asian Conference channel Live on Satellite TV, what do I need?
- Satellite Dish with cable and LNBF
- Television Set with A/V cables
2) I have a satellite dish and cable, how do I set it up to catch the Joel Rosenberg Epicenter Asian Conference channel?
- Initially set the antenna to 118° and 55° for the azimuth and elevation respectively
- Configure the Receiver Box to the following parameters:
- Frequency = 12544MHz
- Symbol rate = 21.4286 Msps
- LO= can be found on the LNBF (ie. 11300,10600,10750)MHz.
- Polarity = Vertical
- FEC = 5/6
- Move the antenna sideways to +-8° of 118° until the maximum signal will obtain.
- Move the antenna upward/downward to +-8° of 55° until the maximum signal be obtain
- Maximum signal can be seen on SIGNAL STREGNTH and SIGNAL QUALITY.
3) How do I test if my satellite dish and cable is set up correctly?
- The following channels must be received:
- FLIP TV2, AMA Channel, GOD TV, YR ASIA TV, KARAOKE TV, MAGIC 89.9, GV FM 99.1, GV AM792 and TV Maria.
- Pls. tune in to KARAOKE TV to test the A/V while waiting for the Advance Play-out or the Live feed.
- If you can view these changes, you’re successful. Congratulations!!!
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE:
- Signal should not be obstructed.
- Path of the signal going to the antenna should not be obstructed.
- Repeat the procedure from 2.1-2.5.
- Please check all cable connections. They must be properly attached.
- LNBF
- Please also check the orientation of the LNBF. (Orientation may vary depending on the design of the LNBF. But it should be tilted at 5 O’clock or 7 O’clock, facing the antenna.
- Please also check the Input frequency of the LNBF. It should be within the range of the downlink frequency (DL=12544MHz).
- Please check that the DC power going to the LNBF is correct.
- Disconnect the F type connector from the LNBF.
- Measure the DC power using VOM, DC is present (16VDC to 24VDC)
- Connect everything and test.
